About Me

WELCOME. I’m Melissa. A few years ago, the life I’d carefully engineered fell apart. A relationship ended, my body waved a white flag, and the career ladder I was climbing felt more like a wall I didn’t want to scale. On the outside I looked “together.” Inside, I was exhausted, anxious, and running on autopilot.

I tried to fix it with overworking, perfectionism, and distraction. None of it healed me. What did was something deceptively simple: paying attention—kindly, on purpose. Mindfulness didn’t erase my problems; it gave me a way to meet them without becoming them.

At first, it was three minutes with my breath before opening my inbox. A body scan in my parked car after a hard appointment. Drinking tea without also doomscrolling. Little by little, I rebuilt from the inside out—steadier, softer, and more honest with myself.

Here, I share what I’ve learned about mindful living—practices and tools that fit real schedules and real seasons of life.
